The article “Hype,”
states that ads are no longer confined to the usual places. Ads are now
everywhere you turn today. The writer, Kalle Lasn, believes that the increase
in commercial advertising has happened so steadily and relentlessly that we
haven’t quite woken up to the absurdity. Studies say that commercial pollution
is slowly corrupting our brains day by day. Mentally, there is nowhere to run. When
you go to the bank and as you wait to receive your money, there’s an ad
scrolling by in a little window.
